Wonder Woman is soaring at the box office as it netted a whopping $103.1 million in the U.S., which beats most estimates.

Likewise, Wonder Woman has exceeded international estimates as it has brought in $125 million for this past weekend.

Wonder Woman also breaks box office records as it gives director Patty Jenkins the best opening Thursday preview and opening weekend for a female director.

To date, Wonder Woman has a current worldwide box office gross of $228.1 million and internationally is even ahead of Thor 1 & 2, Iron Man 1 & 2, Guardians Of The Galaxy 1 & 2, Doctor Strange, Captain America 1 & 2, Ant-Man and Man Of Steel. Deadline notes Wonder Woman is on par with Deadpoool in foreign markets, which went on to bring in over $420 million internationally.

Plans for Wonder Woman 2 are already being talked about.

"Patty's vision mesmerized the audience. She is a real talent. Clearly, this is a movie that is resonating with moviegoers around the globe," Warner Bros. domestic distribution president Jeff Goldstein said, reports THR. "I am sure we will be seeing a lot more of Diana on the big screen."

Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.
