Stan Lee Accused Of Sex Abuse
Now Stan Lee is accused of sex abuse and sexual harassment.
According to The Daily Mail, the 95-year-old Marvel creator of Spider-Man and the Avengers is accused of groping nurses and demanding oral sex in the shower at his home in Los Angeles, but according to Stan Lee, he is a victim of a "shake down."
The article says a nursing company stopped working for Stan Lee after a string of complaints, which includes young female nurses complaining that Stan Lee demanded oral sex from them, groped them and walked around naked.
Stan Lee's lawyers have responded and told the Daily Mail they sent a cease and desist letter to the nursing company which employs the women.
"Mr Lee will not be extorted or blackmailed, and will pay no money to anyone because he has done absolutely nothing wrong," attorney Tom Lallas said.
Lawyers further said that Stan Lee "categorically denies" the "false and despicable" allegations and fully intends to clear his "stellar good name" and suggested the allegations could be part of a shakedown.
Earlier in the week saw it become known that someone stole $300,000 from Stan Lee in the form of a fraudulent check, though it is presently unclear if the two matters are related, and the Beverly Hills PD is investigating the forgery.
The current nursing company caring for Stan Lee has said that Lee has been nothing but "polite, kind and respectful" since they took over at the start of the year.
"It has been a privilege to care for him," Julie Wozniak, a rep for the new firm Vitale Nursing Inc. said.
