Spider-Man: Homecoming MCU Concept Art
Spider-Man: Homecoming is now in theaters and it's kicking all kind of box office butt!
Now check out cool pieces of Spider-Man concept art for the MCU from artist Ryan Meinerding who reveals Kevin Feige asked him to come up with a batch of Spider-Man art a few years ago.
Growing up I never imagined a world in which I would get to design Spidey so when Kevin Feige came into my office one day a few years ago and said we need designs for Peter Parker I couldn't believe it. I'm really proud of this design and in particular the expressive eyes. l'll be sharing lots more concepts over the coming weeks. I'm a huge Spider-Man fan so this truly was a dream project for me. #spidermanhomecoming #spidey #spiderman #marvel #costumedesign #conceptart #mcu #instaart
Who has their tickets for tonight? @jnwtts did an awesome job with this movie and @tomholland2013 and @robertdowneyjr are incredible as #spidey and #ironman. This is my art that they used for the Art of Spider-Man: Homecoming book. It's a wraparound slip case. It's always a honor to have my art used like this. The full image is up on my Twitter. I'm new to Twitter so it would be awesome if you wanted to head over and give me a follow! Link in bio. Oh and don't forget I'll be signing copies of these books tonight with the rest of the Visual Development team at @arclightcinemas in Hollywood. #spidermanhomecoming #marvelstudios #spiderman #art #conceptart #ryanmeinerding #mcu #instaart
"Spider-Man: Homecoming" is directed by Jon Watts starring Tom Holland, Zendaya, Michael Keaton, Donald Glover, Jacob Batalon, Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori, Tyne Daly, Bokeem Woodbine, with Marisa Tomei, and Robert Downey Jr.
A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.). Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine – distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man – but when the Vulture (Michael Keaton) emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.
