Saïd Taghmaoui Teases Wonder Woman Role
Saïd Taghmaoui has taken to Instagram to seemingly tease his role in the upcoming Wonder Woman movie.
The actor posted a pic of a member of the DC Comics Blackhawk team, which in the comics is a team of WWII ace pilots made up of various nationalities. I suppose we can speculate the Blackhawks exist as ace pilots in WWI as well, as that is the timeframe of the Wonder Woman movie.
IMDb has Saïd Taghmaoui playing a characer names Samneer, which looks to be original for the movie and has been described as an ally to both Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor and also a master of disguise and capable of speaking numerous languages. In the comics the Blackhawk team is made up of seven members and operates out of a hidden base while attacking the Axis powers.
The Blackhawk comic was actually really popular back in the 1940s, with only Superman outselling it. You can read more about the Blackhawks on Wiki.
