New Spider-Man Movies Include Kraven the Hunter and Mysterio
New details are learned about Sony's Spider-Man cinematic universe.
In addition to the likelihood of Tom Holland as Spider-Man appearing in the Sony Spiderverse spinoff films (presently Venom and Silver and Black), as well as Carnage appearing in Venom, new movie projects are learned to be in development.
THR reports that movies are in the works focusing on Kraven The Hunter and Mysterio. It's further reported the once planned Sinister Six movie has been shelved.
The article also notes Michael Keaton has only signed on for a one-picture deal to play Vulture.
Sony is presently developing their new Spider-Man cinematic universe, which is set a part from the MCU, and they have upwards of 900 Marvel characters to use in the films. Sony purchased the Spider-Man film rights from Marvel in the 90s, which includes all the Spider-Man related Marvel characters.
Spider-Man: Homecoming hits July 7.
