Justice League Aquaman Cut Scene & Steppenwolf Concept Art

Check out two new cool pieces of Justice League concept art featuring Aquaman meeting the dead king, and art of Steppenwolf, the villain of the movie.

The Aquaman concept art scene was cut from the Justice League movie. If you recall, Zack Snyder shared video of the scene in action with Jason Momoa swimming up to the dead king; however, the theatrical release was changed to show Aquaman swimming up to an Atlantean soldier. It's possible they may have cut the Aquaman scene in order to give James Wan more control over the origin in the upcoming Aquaman film.

The Steppenwolf "arrival" scene was featured in the Justice League movie when Steppenwolf came to get the Mother Box from the Atlanteans. I wasn't too thrilled with the look of Steppenwolf in Justice League, and I wished they would have used practical effects instead of CGI.

Look for more of an inside look when the Justice League Blu-Ray gets released.

Justice League is directed by Zack Snyder, with the story by Chris Terrio and Zack Snyder, the screenplay by Chris Terrio and Joss Whedon, and stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon and Willem Dafoe an Atlantean, Nuidis Vulko.

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
