A new Avengers: Infinity War set image spotted in Edinburgh, Scotland may hint at the deaths of the Avengers or even the universe as Thor's Age of Ultron vision looks to become a reality in The Avengers: Infinity War.
The Infinity War set pic is the same statue that can be seen in Thor's vision from Avengers: Age Of Ultron (see below).
The vision in Age of Ultron features Thor meeting up with Heimdall in Hel(?) who accuses Thor of being the destroyer and leading them to hell.Â
"Wake up!" Heimdall tells Thor. "We are all dead! Can you not see! You are a destroyer, Odinson."
The Infinity Gauntlet is then briefly shown, with Heimdall telling Thor, "See where your power leads."Â
Thor then has another vision of the same place where "extinction" can be heard with the Infinity Stones and Infinity Gauntlet shown.
It's possible that Thor's vision didn't have anything to do with Ultron, but of Infinity War as Thanos aquiring the Infinity Stones and the Infinity Gauntlet may result in the death of The Avengers and the universe (fans of the comic should understand what I'm getting at). Thanos creator Jim Starlin did say Thanos kicks all kinds of ass in Infinity War.
Avengers: Infinity War also takes place after Thor: Ragnarok, which may have something to do with the vision as well. "Ragnarok" is the destruction of the world at the hands of Hel.
