Writer On Aquaman Offers Update On Setting & More
SlashFilm caught up with the writer at the recent Television Critics Association where Will Beall offered details on Aquaman's setting.
“I can tell you that not all of the action takes place underwater,” Beall said. “Some of the most fun action in the movie actually takes place on dry land.”
Will Beall also said the Aquaman movie script isn't finished.
“Nope, I am still working on it with James [Wan] and Geoff [Johns],” Beall said.
Following Batman vs. Superman, Jason Momoa will be featured in the Justice League film. Beall says what happens in that movie isn't affecting his Aquaman script.
“No, no, they know what’s happening,” Beall said. “Everybody knows what’s happening so it’s not that. It’s working out what’s going to make the best movie.”
The article also notes Will Beall wouldn't confirm the rumor that Black Manta is the villain of Aquaman.
"Aquaman" has a July 27, 2018 release.
