First it was allegedly Edward Norton, and now it's Terrence Howard.
In a candid interview, Terrence Howard let it be known what may have really went down regarding losing the James Rhodes and War Machine gig for Iron Man 2.
According to Howard, he signed a 3-picture deal with Marvel Studios, but they broke the contract in order to pay Robert Downey Jr. more money. Terrence Howard even says they straight out told him he wasn't needed.
"This is gonna get me in a lot of trouble, but who gives a f*ck," Howard said. "It turns out that the person that I helped become 'Iron Man,' when it was time to re-up for the second one, took the money that was supposed to go to me and pushed me out."
There has been similar talk surrounding The Avengers 2; however, it was reported that Robert Downey Jr. backed his fellow Avengers stars this time. Perhaps Downey Jr. learned a lesson the first time around.
Regarding Edward Norton, reportedly Marvel Studios didn't want another big star side by side Robert Downey Jr.
