We get our second surprise X-Men cameo possibly in James Mangold's The Wolverine.
Previously it was rumored and then proven true that Famke Janssen would appear in the film, and now we have another mutant to add to the mix.
JoBlo has it that Professor Xavier will appear in The Wolverine, though it is unknown if it's Patrick Stewart or James McAvoy.
According to the report, Wolverine and Xavier are shown walking together into an airport then going into a "freeze frame."
It's said the scene was a re-shoot and could be the film's post-credit scene.
Similar to the Jean Grey scene, this could be another flashback as The Wolverine is said to take place after X-Men: The Last Stand where Prof. X seemingly died.
It's also quite possible it could hook in with Bryan Singer's X-Men: Days of Future Past of which Hugh Jackman returns as Wolverine.
The Wolverine has a July 26th, 2013 release date, also starring Brian Tee, Will Yun Lee, and Hiroyuki Sanada.
