[[wysiwyg_imageupload:4268:]]Is it safe to say that after seeing all the Thor 2, "The Dark World," set images that a "Thor 3" is a strong possibility?
Of course, Hiddleston doesn't come out and say that there will be a "Thor 3," but does offer hope.
"These kind of films, not to get too heavy about it, all depend on the financial success of the one before, so we'll have to see," he said.
We know that Robert Downey Jr. and Iron Man 3 will be the first Marvel Studios movie following the blockbuster billion dollar movie, The Avengers, a sure success at the box office, does the same hold true for Thor 2?
If audience anticipation is anything to go by, it sure seems that way.
So with all the success, did Hiddleston expect a movie like The Avengers to be so popular?
"You never count your chickens," he reveals. "When you're inside it, you're just thinking, 'I hope I haven't screwed this up.' You don't want to be the weakest link in the chain."
And as Thor 2 has Game of Thrones' Alan Taylor on board, Hiddleston offers his thoughts on the new director.
"Ken [Branagh] established the tone, so we’ve taken the baton and kept running. Alan Taylor is fantastic, one of the men responsible for 'Game of Thrones' which is so of that world, a very grounded, gritty, earthy world where warriors and swords and monsters and magic all meet, so his experience of that has given him a fantastic take on the whole world of Thor."
Thor 2: The Dark World hammers into theaters November 8th, 2013 directed by Alan Taylor (Game of Thrones), starring Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Anthony Hopkins as Odin, Idris Elba as Heimidall, Zachary Levi as Fandral and Jaimie Alexander as Sif, Christopher Eccleston as Malekith the Accursed, Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Kurse.
