[[wysiwyg_imageupload:5822:]]Hmm...the forums over at Comic Book Resources seem to be censoring user posts that don't jive with Marvel, editor Stephen Wacker, or even Dan Slott from what I'm hearing.
And I guess they have been doing it for a while.
Might as well post mine here.
All I wanted to ask editor Stephen Wacker was when is Marvel announcing that Nova #1 had sold out and we are going to get a second print variant?
I also asked if he thought retailers may have under ordered the issue like Marvel VP of Sales David Gabriel said about Bendis' Guardians of the Galaxy .1.
Regarding Nova #1 and various reviews and comments, people seem to be divided over the issue's contents.
A majority seemed to love the Black Nova Corps covert concept, but really disliked the "been there done that" Spider-Man routine.
It's sort of ironic as people like the more science-fiction elements that Marvel chose to dump with DnA's run, and didn't like the Spider-Man not in space mumbo jumbo.
A big question seems to be which direction will Loeb be taking the book?
Well, don't we already have our answer? The book is currently taking place before the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon (same Sam) as well as the 2011 Point One issue and subsequent AvX appearances.
There's also the question: What's up with a 15 year old joining an elite covert military squad? What's Loeb done? Make the Black Nova Corps the Taliban?
Of course, we have to wait and see how things play out, but it could very well take place in an alternate universe and play into the coming "Crisis on Infinite Earths" Marvel "Infinity" event storyline.
Right now, I'm sure Wacker is thanking McGuinness for being on board this.
