Earlier saw news that Jason Momoa has been cast as Aquaman in Batman Vs. Superman, and now it's being stated WB is moving forward with an Aquaman movie.
THR is stating that Warner Bros. has hired two writers to pen scripts for an Aquaman film.
It's said WB is using two different writers on the project in hopes of getting the best possible version.
One of the writers they have on Aquaman is Will Beall, who worked on Gangster Squad and also a version of the Justice League movie script.
The other writer on Aquaman is said to be Kurt Johnstad, Zack Snyder's 300 writer.
Not much else is known about the Aquaman movie, but it's possible the release date could closely follow Batman Vs. Superman and Justice League.
"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" has a March 25, 2016 release starring Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Ray Fisher as Cyborg with Callan Mulvey, Holly Hunter and Tao Okamoto in new character roles for the film. Justice League is to follow directed by Zack Snyder as well.
