Check out video below of Tom Holland talking about playing Spider-Man where the English actor reveals Chris Hemsworth gave him some advice, as the two actors star in the upcoming Ron Howard film, In The Heart Of The Sea.
"Hemsworth is a good friend of mine, and I work with him," Holland said. "I have a film that's coming out in a couple months, actually, and he sent me a congratulatory note and also just a few words of advice about 'remain cool, it's all going to get a little crazy, but just enjoy life while no one knows who you are and do some travelling.'"
Holland is also asked about taking inspiration from the other Spider-Man films and comic books.
"I think it's impossible not to," Holland offered. "They were so great and such real and rich performances. There is obviously factors that I love, and I will continue to try and recreate, but I think the most important thing at the moment is making a film, which is obviously of the same character, but make a different and new and exciting movie."
"In The Heart of the Sea" has a December 11, 2015 release; Tom Holland will first appear as Peter Parker/Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War out May 6, 2016 followed by the standalone untitled Spider-Man movie in July 28, 2017.
