Astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson recently appeared on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart where he weighed in on the Batman Vs. Superman debate.

Jon Stewart seems to think Superman would win as Batman is just a guy with a "nice belt."

Tyson then goes on to state what it's about:

Who does Batman report to? The commissioner and ultimately the mayor. Who does Superman report to? It's no one we know. It's no one we have any insight into. He just behaves in whatever way he wants, and so at the end of day, what might matter is the public reception of the superhero's conduct. If Batman executes our wishes in the city, and Superman does what the hell he wants, that's a conflict.

Tyson was featured in the Batman Vs. Superman trailer below voicing: "We are talking about a being whose various existence challenges our own sense of priority in the universe."

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" has a March 25, 2016 release starring Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Ray Fisher as Cyborg with Callan Mulvey, Holly Hunter and Tao Okamoto in new character roles for the film. Justice League is to follow directed by Zack Snyder as well.
