Watch: Michael Shannon Talks Batman vs. Superman With Larry King
Recent statements by Michael Shannon saw the actor state he has a role in Batman Vs. Superman suggesting his character has flipper hands which led to all sorts of internet speculation.
Shannon then stated he was just joking, and now Larry King asks Michael Shannon about the movie.
Shannon tells King how Superman cracked his neck in Man of Steel and left him for dead, which saw King remark, "So you're not Zod?"
“It’s the same thing like in the first one with Jor-El, Russell Crowe’s character, is kind of like a ghost," Shannon responded. "So I guess I’m a ghost.”
Shannon also confirms he is there in Batman Vs. Superman as Zod, as well as states he did not film scenes with Batman.
"Yeah," Shannon responded to Larry King's questioning about portraying Zod. "I did not cross paths with Batman. No."
Regarding the flippers, Shannon offered he was being a little "mischievous" as Warner Bros. doesn't want him saying anything. "It was a red herring as it were."
