Joss Whedon takes part in a goofy interview with Marvel Comics, but he does offer some insight into the global scope of The Avengers 2 by mentioning where he filmed the sequel.
"We wanted the world perspective on The Avengers. [We shot] up in the Italian Alps. We were in Seoul, Korea. We were in Johannesburg [South Africa]. We shot a little in Bangladesh. Then all over England.”
Whedon also joked where the entire movie takes place.
“Weirdly, the whole film takes place in Cleveland.”
