Hans Zimmer is back to create the music score for Zack Snyder's Batman vs. Superman following Man of Steel.

MTV caught up with the Oscar-award winning composer this past Sunday and asked how things are coming along.

Zimmer noted the Batman Vs. Superman score is unwritten, but he does have some ideas.

Zimmer also agreed that each Justice League character would have need to have their own music, and again stated he is not doing Batman's music, but that he brought in his friend, Tom Holenborg (better known as Junkie XL), to do the music for the new Dark Knight Ben Affleck.

"I'm getting my friend Junkie XL to do Batman, so it's a bit of a different tone."

Zimmer scored the music for Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Trilogy.

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" has a March 25, 2016 release starring Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Ray Fisher as Cyborg with Callan Mulvey, Holly Hunter and Tao Okamoto in new character roles for the film. Justice League is to follow directed by Zack Snyder as well.
