Turns out it was a win for everybody as both shows scored record ratings.
The Walking Dead brought in an additional 3.4 million viewers for its Season 3 finale, compared to Season 2, with a grand total of 12.4 million viewers. The lead in for Talking Dead also gave that show higher ratings as well.
Meanwhile, HBO's Game of Thrones saw 4.4 million tuning in.
It was also announced that David Morrissey would be returning as The Governor to Season 4 of The Walking Dead as a regular.
