Last night saw some "news" came out of the Stan Lee Comikaze Expo about Ben Affleck possibly directing the Justice League movie and a new Batman movie as well as Jaimie Alexander up for Wonder Woman and/or Batman Vs. Superman.
Turns out it was a QnA with a bunch of bloggers put out by AMC of which Jaimie Alexander hosted.
Basically fans sent in their questions with Alexander reading them off and the panel of bloggers answering them.
For instance, a fans asks the panel if it was a good thing or a bad thing for WB to cast Ben Affleck as Batman with Alexander offering her opinion, and that's when Batman Vs. Superman comes into play.
"I got an opinion on this," Jaimie Alexander said. "You know what. Here's the thing. I was a huge fan of Michael Keaton as Batman. I don't know if any of you have ever met Michael Keaton, he is not a large fella. He is petite, rather, and I thought he was bad ass as Batman. So I gotta say, I mean look, I kind of know what the storyline is for that movie [Batman Vs. Superman], and I really think Ben Affleck is actually a pretty decent choice - in my opinion. He's a hard worker. He's a talented guy, and he knows how all of you feel. I can reassure you, he is not going to let you down. At least he is not going to try to, you know. Please don't shoot me. I love you guys. Go Thor."
Jaimie Alexander further clarified by what she meant of "kind of knowing the storyline for that movie" over at Forbes.
"Being in the comic book world, we know a lot of the same people at DC and Marvel, so we hear a lot of things, but it’s all speculation right now," Jaimie Alexander clarifed. "But I would absolutely love that. Thankfully and gratefully, I’m appreciative to the people who ask my opinion of the character, and that’s been pretty amazing.”
Regarding Affleck directing Justice League and a new Batman, all it happened to be was the bloggers offering their opinions.
Sounds like come cool hype, but really nothing concrete on all ends.
There was also mention that Thor 3 was confirmed, but that was more exaggeration as what was actually stated was it depends on how well Thor 2 does at the box office.
