Following Georges St-Pierre's Captain America: The Winter Soldier footsteps, MMA fighter and UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley is entering the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Spider-Man: Homecoming.
"I don’t know if I can even say this, but I’m working on a Marvel movie on Thursday in Atlanta," Woodley said.
Tyron Woodley isn't a stranger to the big screen as he's featured in the upcoming Kickboxer: Vengeance movie as well as did stunt work on Straight Outta Compton and Olympus Has Fallen.
Tom Holland was also in attendance this past Saturday at UFC 201 where Tyron Woodley won the welterweight champion fight.
"Spider-Man: Homecoming" has a July 7, 2017 release directed by Jon Watts starring Tom Holland, Zendaya, Michael Keaton, Donald Glover, Jacob Batalon, Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori, Tyne Daly, Bokeem Woodbine, with Marisa Tomei, and Robert Downey Jr.
A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Marvel Studios' "Captain: Civil War," begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging superhero in "Spider-Man: Homecoming."
