The Omlette reports on 10 minutes of footage they have seen which includes the following details (roughly translated):
Stated to be four years after Transformers: Dark of the Moon.
Stanley Tucci plays some sort of millionaire designer that builds new Transformers from alien tech. Tucci thinks Bumblebee is scrap, and that making his own Transformers is comparable to poetry. It's said his character serves as comic relief.
Mark Wahlberg (Cade Yeager) finds Transformers tech that gets activated which attracts the attention of the government and "alien bounty hunters." The alien bounty hunters are not confirmed by Bay to be Decepticons. Bay evades that line of questioning.
The bounty hunters come to Wahlberg's home where some sort of anti-gravity beam abducts his daughter, Tessa (played by Nicola Peltz). Another scene shows a cruise ship being lifted the same way.
The footage didn't show any of the Transformers' robot modes and didn't mention the Dinobots at all.
Character details revealed include:
Titus Welliver is the leader of the government goons.
Kelsey Grammar plays the leader of a counterintelligence agency.
Sophia Myles is an archeologist and assists Tucci.
Wahlberg refers to Bumblebee as "Bee".
The report also speculates that the human element in the film is more important than the Transformers, and that a first look at the Dinobots could be Sunday during the Super Bowl.
"Transformers: Age Of Extinction" has a Summer 2014 release directed by Michael Bay and starring Mark Wahlberg, Jack Reynor, Nicola Peltz, Sophia Myles, Li Bingbing, T.J. Miller and Kelsey Grammar.
