[[wysiwyg_imageupload:6958:]]Michael Bay attended the recent CinemaCon held in Las Vegas for theater owners where we get two updates regarding Transformers 4.

The first pertains to a new cast member with the addition of Stanley Tucci.

It's reported that Tucci joins Transformers 4 playing opposite Mark Wahlberg, Jack Reynor and Nicola Peltz in an unspecified role.

Michael Bay also teased another young actor will be named shortly.

The second bit of Transformers 4 news is in regards to Michael Bay using smaller IMAX 3D cameras.

The IMAX cameras that Bay, J.J. Abrams and Christopher Nolan have used in the past were gigantic which limited their use, but the new IMAX cameras are said to be smaller.

Michael Bay told the Collider he'll be using the new smaller IMAX 3D cameras for Transformers 4, but they still do use a ton of memory.

"We’re screwed with the amount of computing power we’re going to need here," Bay said about his finishing company telling him about use of the the new cameras.

Transformers 4 has a July 4, 2014 release with plot details being kept secret; however, a previous leaked plot - which may be incorrect - suggested that both the Autobots and Decepticons had left Earth with a new older Transformers enemy setting its sites on the planet. Also, something about the rich and powerful attempting to use Transformers tech for their own needs was mentioned, speculating that the DinoBots might come into play, with the older Transformer enemy being Unicron.
