Recent addition to the Spider-Man: Homecoming cast, Tony Revolori, has taken to Twitter to offer a look at a gift the crew gave him, which is a mask of the alternate universe Spider-Man, Miles Morales.
"Crew got me this mask to f--k with me and so far it's probably gonna be present of the year lol," Revolori tweeted.
Interestingly enough, Tom Holland did let it know that an attempt was made to get Miles Morales on the big screen for the reboot, which was more than likely being put forth by the Marvel Comics creative committee of which Kevin Feige booted from having any involvement in the MCU. Brian Michael Bendis was a part of the committee and is the creator of Miles Morales. We can probably guess Miles Morales won't be appearing on film any time soon. Bendis was also in part responsible for taking the Guardians of the Galaxy comic book away from Abnett and Lanning, whose 2008 series inspired the movie and new billion dollar franchise for Disney.
Regarding Tony Revolori's role in Spider-Man: Homecoming, there are conflicting reports: One says he is playing rival/nemsis to Peter Parker in high school, while another report stated he is a friend to Parker.
We'll find out more when Spider-Man: Homecoming gets released on July 7, 2017 also starring Robert Downey Jr., Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, Zendaya as Michelle and Laura Harrier in an unknown role.
