We first told you about Warner Bros. plans to have the new Superman movie, the Man of Steel, to be the launch pad of the DC shared movie universe.
This came from our source who has been filling us in on various DC Entertainment movies including The Dark Knight Rises.
The source also previously told us that Christopher Nolan was to be a part of the Justice League movie, of which WB president Jeff Robinov just spoke about.
Regarding the Man of Steel, back in early June we were informed that the Man of Steel will spearhead the major developments going on with the DC shared movie universe, and that Henry Cavill will be given a new contract to include the Justice League movie as well as subsequent Superman sequels.
Now, CBM has apparently heard something similar — and Wonder Woman is involved.
According to our source part of WB's plan is to use Man Of Steel and drop hints that Superman is in a shared universe with his DC counterparts. The hints will be very subtle such as character mentions. The one character that DC is really wanting to reference is Wonder Woman. The source was unclear on if this would be to set up a solo movie for the Amazon Princess or to the Justice League.
Regarding a Wonder Woman movie, our source recently informed us that it may have a 2015 release date, which does fit in with what the LA Times own source said about the next time we might see a DC Universe movie — 3 years.
