Thor 2 Might Answer How Dark & Evil Tom Hiddleston's Loki Is
Tom Hiddleston has amassed quite the fan-following with his portrayal of the diabolical brother of Thor, Loki.
The actor even has his own legion of fans known as Hiddleston's army.
Well they should be happy with the latest news coming from Tom Hiddleston as he says he doesn't plan on stopping anytime soon.
"I will go on until the audience wants me to stop or Marvel tells me to stop," Hiddleston tells Zap2It. "It is a rare thing to be connected to a character that people enjoy watching. I never expected it my wildest dreams. You don't dare sign up for that as an actor. All any actor can see is they might play a character that somehow ignites the public imagination and it is thrilling when you do. It is in good fun."
In addition, the actor teases what's in store for Loki in Thor 2, "The Dark World," as comic book fans may know, Loki has the tendency to switch sides. Will he do so in Thor 2? Hiddleston teases both answers to the question.
"The fun of playing Loki is the character itself constantly keeps people guessing. And he provokes a double-edged sentiment in the people who allegedly he has invested in, and who he cares about," Hiddleston said. "As someone, who was then cast out as the black sheep of the royal family, whether he can be accepted into that fold is a question that remains to be answered. Just how dark and evil he has become is another question I hope the film will answer."
For the fans of Tom Hiddleston wondering when we will get a first look at Loki in Thor 2, an Iron Man 3 international banner was just released which stated the trailer will debut with the movie. In addition, a look at Tom Hiddleston was said to be teased this past December as footage was said to reveal a Loki that had been hurt in a fight.
