We thought the new Superman movie, the Man of Steel, had wrapped up filming over at Edwards Air Force Base, but it seems Zack Snyder has a little more to do.
A couple weeks ago a casting call went out in the Los Angeles area with a request for Nepalese Yak Herders look-a likes for filming yesterday and today.
Seems the Man of Steel is filming outside of L.A. in a scene/s that involves "herders."
Here's the blub via OnLocationVacations:
We are looking for Real Nepalese looking men and women to play Nepalese Yak Herders for an upcoming SAG feature film. You must be available for a fitting on Jan. 26th and for the work days, Feb 2nd & 3rd. All ages should apply.
Now before you ask what in tarnations Nepalese Yak Herders are, I went and google-imaged them:
Now, either Snyder is using the Yak Herders for native Alaskan Eskimos, as Clark makes his way up in that direction (but then, why wouldn't he just request that?), or some super scene may be taking place in the Himalayas?!
Could be that, as we all know Superman can fly, as he journeys seeking answers about himself and his origins - he heads to the Himalayas looking for answers.
Hey, maybe Clark encounters the League of Shadows from Batman (Kidding!). Would be cool, though.
