Crowe is set to play Jor-El, the Kryptonian father to Henry Cavill's Superman, in the Zack Snyder reboot, the Man of Steel.
Looks like Crowe may be trying to shed a few pounds, as the Chicago Sun Times notes, his dishes of choice consist of sushi and seafood. Not to mention the pic looks like Crowe blew up like a blowfish!

Naperville was also the spot of a recent casting call for the new Superman movie that drew hundreds of applicants.
The Man of Steel begins filming in Chicago starting in August.
