Lines started forming around 11am for the 6pm start.
“It’s just really exciting. I hope I can be in it doing anything,” Monique Christy told the Beacon News. “I told them they can even blow up my truck if they want to. It’s a beater.”
The application consisting of filling out a form with your basic information including name, age, size, occupation and address. Then applicants were directed to get a quick photo taken.
However, applicants need not have applied in person, as over 3000 have already applied online.
Local residents noted they would much rather take part in the process, which may or may not increase their chances of landing a role in the new movie.
“My buddy got found at a casting call, and he’s been in like four movies,” John Gamble said.
The next casting call for the Man Of Steel takes place in Chicago, Illinois on Saturday June 25th.
Last Saturday saw hundreds of hopeful super men, women and children in Naperville, Illinois fill out an application and sumbit a photo in hopes of getting a call, as well.
