A Supergirl TV series is slated for CBS, which will feature 24-year-old Kara Zor-El who is forced to use her super powers in public during an unexpected disaster.
Now it's learned the series being on two different networks doesn't necessarily mean two separate universes.
The latest issue of Entertainment Weekly (via KSiteTV) stated the following:
Later in the afternoon at his other office on the Warner Bros. lot, Berlanti meets with fellow producer Ali Adler and Oscar-winning costume designer Colleen Atwood to go over looks for their upcoming revamp of Supergirl. The show will follow 24-year-old Kara Zor-El, Superman's cousin, and with a twist that that could melt fanboy brains, Berlanti says it's possible this Supergirl could enter the worlds of Arrow and The Flash.
Other details previously mentioned for the Supergirl TV series include the use of Superman characters Jimmy Olsen, Cat Grant and Hank Henshaw. Smallville Supergirl Laura Vandervoort also stated she wouldn't mind playing a villain.
