I'm betting Stephen Amell is pitching the powers that be for a shared movie and TV universe for the DC characters.
While Arrow EP Greg Berlanti says they haven't had any conversations except which characters they are allowed to use, Stephen Amell has been pretty outspoken as he has previously dropped hints of the Justice League and mentioned Christopher Nolan gave the okay for the use of The Flash.
Realistically it just makes a lot of sense to have everything connected as one would benefit the other - and benefit the fans as well.
The latest from Amell comes from Fandago:
"All we have to do for something like that to happen, or even be a possibility, is continue to take care of business with our show and then we put ourselves in a position – but the important thing is our show,” he says, revealing that there definitely have been talks at a studio level. “I have had discussions, but I think the gestation process for this project is a lot slower than most people think. I mean, they haven't even shot the next one. They haven't even shot a frame of the movie before the movie everyone thinks is theJustice League movie!”
Arguably, Amell is the face of DC as he's seen every week on TV, so a Justice League movie appearance wouldn't be that farfetched (and would anybody complain?). Green Arrow was also involved in the Batman Vs. Superman The Dark Knight Returns comic.
Obviously, some things would have to be worked out, such as with The Flash, as Grant Gustin is set to be featured in his own spinoff TV series. The Flash is rumored for Batman Vs. Superman and a Justice League movie. Would they really use two different actors for The Flash?
There has also been talk of seeing the Justice League characters at the end of Batman Vs. Superman, maybe we'll see an arrow or two from Stephen Amell?
