Star Wars: Rogue One Trailer Coming Thanksgiving

ABC has announced an exlusive preview of Star Wars: Rogue One will air on Thanksgiving. 

Watch the promo below announcing the "The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration" special featuring Kelly Clarkson, Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, and hosts Derek and Julianne Hough.

"The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration" airs on Thanksgiving night, Thursday, November 24th from 8pm ET to 10pm ET.

THANKSGIVING - THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 24

"The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration" premieres on the ABC Television Network (8:00-10:00 p.m. EST) and on the ABC app. Join Emmy Award-winners Julianne and Derek Hough as they host the magical two-hour special from the Walt Disney World Resort. They join "Descendants 2" star Sofia Carson to kick off the holiday season in a way only Disney can, showcasing extraordinary music performances, special appearances and some unforgettable Disney magic moments.

Musical performances include:

· Solo and duet performances by Trisha Yearwood and Garth Brooks from their newly released album, "Christmas Together."

· Kelly Clarkson performing "Underneath the Tree" and "Stronger."

Additional performances will be announced in the coming weeks.

"Star Wars: Rogue One" has a December 16, 2016 release directed by Gareth Edwards and stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed, with Jiang Wen and Forest Whitaker. Kathleen Kennedy, Allison Shearmur and Simon Emanuel are producing, with John Knoll and Jason McGatlin serving as executive producers. 

Synopsis:

From Lucasfilm comes the first of the Star Wars standalone films, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, an all-new epic adventure. In a time of conflict, a group of unlikely heroes band together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire’s ultimate weapon of destruction. This key event in the Star Wars timeline brings together ordinary people who choose to do extraordinary things, and in doing so, become part of something greater than themselves.
