A new batch of rumors surrounding Star Wars: Episode VII has hit the net.
The latest rumors come from another Star Wars fansite, MakingStarWars.net.
It's said the villains of the film are "Jedi Hunters," and that Luke Skywalker has been battling them for the last 30 years.
It's unclear if "Jedi Hunters" is the official name for the new bad guys as the report states that is what they are being referred to around the set.
The Jedi Hunters are said to carry lightsabers and be "scary individuals, dressed in black, some helmeted, that hunt Jedi for the Empire."
Yes, that means the Empire is still around and didn't collapse after Return of the Jedi.
David Oyelowo is said to be voicing or playing one of the Jedi Hunters as well as Lupita Nyong’o and Adam Driver.
It's said the Jedi Hunters are the reason there is no new Republic, and that they worship the Sith and want to resurrect them, which happens in Star Wars: Episode VIII.
March of last year we were told Star Wars: Episode VII could feature a Disciple of Palpatine, which the "Jedi Hunters" seem to resemble.
"Star Wars: Episode VII" has a December 18, 2015 release.
