An article about the Mayan Prophecy may have predicted what is to come next for Star Wars Episode VII as a blurb is mentioned about Luke Skywalker building a Jedi Academy.
Reuters wrote up an article about a Mayan temple located in Guatemala that was used as the location for Yavin 4, the rebel base, in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope.
They mention that most likely Star Wars will not return there, but film instead at a studio.
Yavin 4 and the rebel base return to the Star Wars plot in the forthcoming Episode VII, announced in October by the Walt Disney Co, in which Skywalker comes back to the planet to build a Jedi Knight academy. However, fans said that Disney will likely film those scenes in a studio rather than return to Tikal.
Now Reuters could either be going on speculation - as they do mention "fans" - or perhaps it's been known for sometime to those in Guatemala that George Lucas was to return to film Episodes 7, 8 and/or 9.
In addition, a Jedi Academy does sound like something for Episode 7 as it's said the original cast of Star Wars will return to usher in a new generation.
Star Wars Episode VII has a 2015 release date.
