Back in mid-June at the E3, Electronic Arts and DICE revealed a teaser for the Star Wars: Battlefront video game, with more details said to be announced.
Well, more details have been announced at EA's annual stockholders meeting with chief financial officer Blake Jorgensen offering that Star Wars: Battlefront will be approximately released in conjunction with Episode VII.
Jorgensen said, "[Star Wars: Battlefront] will most likely come out around the same time that the Star Wars movies start to come out, probably in the summer of 2015."
J.J. Abrams will be debuting Star Wars: Episode VII in 2015, which could go into production as early as this month.
Electronic Arts recently signed a new multi-year exclusive licensing agreement to develop and publish globally new games based on Star Wars characters and storylines.
Disney and LucasFilm also registered website domains for "Star Wars: Attack Squadron" leading many to speculate it will be an additional video game.
