Star Wars Battlefront Launches Today
Star Wars Battlefront launches today, below you can check out an official announcement from EA regarding the game.
My two cents: I picked up Star Wars Battlefront at midnight and feel it's just an "okay" game. A story mode or campaign would have been nice as the game sort of feels empty. From the Multiplayer maps I've played, I feel they are way too big as I found myself searching for people to shoot more than actually interacting with the enemy. Plus, it seems like I'm just shooting at "dots" (meaning from far away). The weapons (I have the Han Solo Deluxe bonus blaster) aren't that good either, IMO.
My favorite part of the game is probably the Fighter Squadron mode, but as it's in Beta, there isn't really too much to it. I hope they eventually release more ships, more pick-ups, weapons, missions and maps. I also feel the AI ships need to go as the matches are ending way too quick due to the AI's getting easily shot down. It would be much better with no AI's (or at least an option) and just player-driven ships.
I wasn't also thrilled with the fact I had to create an EA account. I already have a PS account, which should be good enough.
Purchasing the game plus the Season Pass doesn't even compare to the content you get for the same regarding Black Ops III. Star Wars Battlefront is pretty, but a bit over priced (at least for now).
