Star-Lord's Guardians of the Galaxy Movie Helmet Is Being Created By Sculptor of Darth Vader's?! Compared To Star Wars
As fans of the comic book know - or knew - the mask basically makes the man.
And why Bendis, Alonso, Wacker and McNiven got rid of Star-Lord's mask in the new junk, is anyone's guess.
But getting back to the topic on hand...
Bleeding Cool has it that the sculptor of Darth Vader's Star Wars mask, Brian Muir, who also worked on the Ark of the Convenant in Indiana Jones, and the Space Jockey for Ridley Scott, is busy working on Star-Lord's battle helmet for James Gunn's movie over at the Pinewood movie studios in the UK.
They also have it that there will be a bit of a Star Wars vibe to the Guardians of the Galaxy movie.
The news on this movie just keeps on getting better and better.
Kevin Feige recently said it takes place 95% in space, and Gunn said it's set in another galaxy.
Throw in an original Guardian or two and I think we're all set.
The Guardians of the Galaxy movie blasts off August 1, 2014 starring Chris Pratt as Star-Lord and Dave Bautista as Drax The Destroyer, the sworn enemy of Thanos, The Avengers movie post-credit villain.
