Sony has changed the release date of the upcoming new standalone Spider-Man reboot set to star Tom Holland.
The untitled Spider-Man movie will now be released three weeks earlier on July 7, 2017, instead of the original July 28th release.
The July 7th release date was previously held by Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell Not Tales, which also saw its release date shift along with Star Wars: Episode VIII.
Sony has also announced the¬†Jumanji¬†reboot has taken the July 28, 2017 release date, which is seven months after the original¬†December 25, 2016¬†release.
