With Marvel Studios set to film parts of The Avengers 2 in South Korea, actress Soo-hyun has been confirmed to be cast in the movie by Disney this past Wednesday.
Soo-hyun's role hasn't been officially announced, but it's been rumored Soo-hyun will play a doctor working side-by-side Robert Downey Jr.
Soo-hyun is a South Korean actress known for the KBS drama Plan B.
Marvel is expected to shoot The Avengers 2 in South Korea sometime in April and/or May.
"South Korea is the perfect location for a movie of this magnitude because it features cutting-edge technology, beautiful landscapes and spectacular architecture," said Kevin Feige, President of Marvel Studios and producer of Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron, in a previously released statement. "We would especially like to thank the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) for making it possible for Avengers: Age of Ultron to come to Korea."
"We're very excited to have the production in Korea, and also expect this to serve as the footstep of many more opportunities yet to come," said minister of Culture, Sports & Tourism of Republic of Korea, Yoo Jinryong in the same release.
"The Avengers: Age Of Ultron" hits May 1, 2015 directed by Joss Whedon starring Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Samuel L. Jackson, Elizabeh Olsen as Scarlet Witch, Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Quicksilver with James Spader as Ultron.
