It's previously been rumored that Captain America 2 will somehow "clean up" Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. with it mentioned there is some sort of big reveal that audiences won't see coming.

Disney CEO Bob Iger even recently said parts of Captain America 2 will be be in part reflected in the Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. TV series.

Now Clark Gregg, Agent Phil Coulson of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., offers some further hints while talking to TV Guide in the following video.

You know ask me again after I've seen Captain America 2. From what I can tell from the trailers, S.H.I.E.L.D. is a big part of that world.

This Centipede plot and the Clairvoyant is going to pull a lot of things together and perhaps connect to the world of some of the Marvel films in the same way that our stories connected to a certain extant with Thor 2.

It will be interesting to see how our team integrates with the world after Captain America [2].

Captain America: The Winter Soldier has an April 4, 2014 release directed by the Russ Bros. starring Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Cobie Smulders, Frank Grillo, Emily Van Camp, Hayley Atwell and Robert Redford.
