Another one of Rob Liefeld's properties is coming to life with a film adaptation of his 1995 comic book, Avengelyne, with Gina Carano attached to play the superheroine.
The Hollywood Reporter reports that both Rob Liefeld and Gina Carano will be on hand at this week's Comic-Con to meet and greet fans, sign autographs, and give out posters with Carano's likeness on them.
It's said that Carano and Liefeld are re-conceiving and rebuilding Avengelyne into a starring vehicle for Carano, with the movie said to be in the vein of Underworld.
The movie looks to be in early stages of development as a search is on for a writer and director.
The Avengelyne comic book series sees the character as a Fallen Angel, yet still loyal to God, who battles demons in preparation for Armageddon.
Gina Carano, a Texas native, recently starred in Fast and Furious, Hawyire and is said to be a part of the female Expendables movie.
