It's learned veteran motion-capture and voice actor Robin Atkin Downes is playing Doomsday in Batman Vs. Superman.
Downes tweeted the news earlier today.
It's unclear if Downes is just providing the voice of Doomsday or if he is further involved in bringing the character to life on the big screen.
Robin Atkin Downes is known for providing a slew of voice roles ranging from Abomination to Mumm-Ra to most recetly the voice of Bill in Conjuring 2. His motion-capture work also includes the Uncharted games.
"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" has a March 25, 2016 release starring Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Ray Fisher as Cyborg with Callan Mulvey, Holly Hunter as Senator Finch and Tao Okamoto as Mercy Graves. Justice League is to follow directed by Zack Snyder as well.
