Paul Bettay recently attended the Dubai Film Festival to debut his new film Shelter, where he managed to talk about the Vision in The Avengers 2.
Bettany says he can't say much, but does tease a connection to J.A.R.V.I.S. and the Vision.
"It's still a secret. I think all will be revealed very shortly," Bettany told THR. "It's a secret I've kept for about three years, which is really hard, especially with three kids. I'm contractually obliged not to talk about it. J.A.R.V.I.S will be there and so will The Vision. But I simply can't tell you any more."
While Bettany didn't offer much, a previous interview with Joss Whedon from a few months ago mentioned the following spoiler-filled details:
The Vision is also member of "Team Ultron," and created by Ultron as well, who also has the power to create "life."
Whedon confirms The Vision is born from JARVIS.
"The Avengers: Age Of Ultron" hits May 1, 2015 directed by Joss Whedon starring Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Samuel L. Jackson, Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch, Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Quicksilver, Paul Bettany as Vision, with James Spader as Ultron.
When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to The Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure.
