Two of the three we have heard before, but Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Armie Hammer get mentioned again along with a new name rumored for the Batman reboot with Orlando Bloom.
Orlando Bloom, 36 years old, is said by a UK gossip site, Express, to be a hot favorite to get the role of Batman, with it even said he may have the part even before the first casting call.
It's said Henry Cavill is signed on for two more Justice League films (known since last November) at $9.3 million a movie with Bloom going on to become the third Brit to take on a superhero role, in which Andrew Garfield rounds it out with Spider-Man.
A "senior source" at Warner Bros. is quoted with: "Orlando looks odds-on to get the part even before our first casting call," and "he would be perfect to play off Henry, and I think US audiences would be happy with two Brits as the joint male leads."
An LA-based industry analyst is also mentioned stating that he doesn't think fans would be complaining with Bloom and Cavill as Batman and Superman.
The article goes on to mention that Bloom faces opposition from American stars Armie Hammer and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, as well as states that after Batman gets cast that the rest of the Justice League will follow with Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman and the Martian Manhunter.
What do you think? Would Orldando Bloom be your pick for the new Batman?
