Kevin Smith recently stated the new batsuit will be made of "material" and won't be configured of armor.
Talking to comic book creator Neal Adams, Kevin Smith said on his latest podcast, "I'm telling you, that’s what they're doing in this new movie Batman movie. It's him in material. None of this body armor shit."
As fans know, Christopher Nolan used body armor for Christian Bale in The Dark Knight Trilogy.
The same podcast also saw Neal Adams slam both Superman Returns and Man of Steel.
"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" has a newly announced May 6, 2016 release starring Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Ray Fisher as Cyborg with Callan Mulvey, Holly Hunter and Tao Okamoto in new character roles for the film. Justice League is to follow directed by Zack Snyder as well.
