Some new plot rumors for Star Wars: Episode VII have hit the net that deal with Han Solo, Princess Leia, their children and the search for Luke Skywalker.
StarWars7News.com heard it through the grapevine that the plot for Star Wars: Episode VII centers around Han Solo and Princess Leia being captured by what remains of the Empire following Return of the Jedi.
It's said the Empire was never wiped out, and that Han and Leia end up in prison at a time when Luke Skywalker goes away.
It's said the main characters of Star Wars: Episode VII are the children of Han and Leia, who due to their parents being in captivity, basically grow up as orphans.
The children eventually seek their uncle, Luke Skywalker, to help free their parents. It's also said Han and Leia have been imprisoned for 8 years or so.
The report mentions to take these with a grain of salt, but it's possible they could be from the Michael Arndt script which is said to have featured the children more than the originals. Reportedly, when J.J. Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan took over scripting duties on Star Wars: Episdoe VII, they wrote the movie more geared for the originals.
Interestingly enough, recently it has been said that Abrams will be going back to Tatooine in Star Wars: Episode VII. Does Luke head back there, as stated above, when he goes away for a time?
"Star Wars: Episode VII" has a December 18, 2015 release.
