We may have a teaser from Dave Filoni, the former supervising director of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, for a new animated show.
Filoni is confirmed for Disney's new Star Wars animated, and look below what he posted on his Facebook.
Looks to be a TIE Fighter assembly line.
Filoni writes, "It’s hard to believe that I have worked at Lucasfilm almost eight years, and this is the first time I have ever gotten to draw a TIE fighter."
From that it sure sounds official.
This also could lend credence to the rumors and theories that the new Star Wars animated show may be set after Return of the Jedi.
And if this is indeed post-Return of the Jedi, it suggests that some form of the Empire still exists as new ships are actively being built.
Previous details that were leaked as well as information Cosmic Book News exclusively provided stated the new Star Wars cartoon would be set after Episode 6 featuring the Rebellion going after what was left of the Empire.
