It was just announced by Fox that Chronicle director Josh Trank is helming the new Fantastic Four movie, and now we learn the FF reboot has a writer with Jeremy Slater.
THR has the news and notes that Slater is an "up-and-coming writer" — so much so that Slater doesn't even have an IMDb listing.
However, the writer did pen Tape 4 for Lionsgate which centers around the mythology of H.P. Lovecraft, as well as Universal's My Spy.
Should be interesting to see where the two take the Fantastic Four, and it's a sure bet it will be "slightly" more serious than the previous two.
Maybe the villain will be Annihilus.
