It's learned that a new Dragon Ball Z movie is in development and will be released next year.
Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama, who is personally behind the new film, told Shueisha's V Jump magazine (via Anime News Network) the new project is something "that the entire universe eagerly awaits!"
It's stated the story is presently top secret, but will be "utterly funny," and that Toriyama is busy working on drawing up the new character design concpets and asked his fans to look forward to the movie.
The new Dragon Ball Z movie looks to be released next April/May.
