It turns out there were actually at least three pieces of art on display at Legendary's Godzilla Encounter at Comic-Con that were concept designs for Gareth Edwards' new monster.
Seems fans were more fixated on the one that went viral, but didn't take a better look around as two more Godzilla pieces are said to have been present.
There is the one of the full-sculpt of Godzilla; the second is the head of the King of Monsters, and the third is said to have been along a wall in the Manga room.
The good news is now we get another look at the Godzilla statues as the Jurassic Con Facebook page has posted a batch of images.
The first few concept images below are based on special effects that were released as part of last year's Comic-Con (remember the leaked pic of Godzilla's head?).
We then see the concept statue of Godzilla's head that was on display at the Legendary SDCC Encounter.
Following that are some up close shots of the full body Godzilla concept statue giving us a great look at the monster; note: Gareth Edwards went on record stating these are not 100% exactly like the movie version.
Also coming out of the Godzilla Encounter was leaked footage, which Legendary made us take down, but you can get a glimpse of that over at the Jurassic Con Facebook via the link above.
Finally, the image at the upper right is an artist's depiction of what Godzilla looked like in the leaked Comic-Con footage.
Godzilla opens May 16, 2014 in 3D starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ken Watanabe, Elizabeth Olsen, and Juliette Binoche, with David Strathairn and Bryan Cranston. The screenplay is by Max Borenstein, Frank Darabont, and Dave Callaham.
An epic rebirth to Toho’s iconic Godzilla, this spectacular adventure pits the world’s most famous monster against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity’s scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence.
